A FRESH TAKE ON TRADITION

In a city where hundreds of weddings a month take place, Fresh Weddings and Events has become Charleston’s go-to shop for wedding and event florals. Recently, we have moved our shop to a larger studio near the Avondale Shopping District in West Ashley to accommodate more weddings! Over the years, we have become a well-known institution throughout the region for our careful, unique craft and individualized attention to every little detail. We are proud of our longstanding connections with local venues, wedding planners, and the community. We cherish our close relationship we develop throughout the planning process with each of our clients. Our shop has taken on various shapes and roles throughout the past 50 years, even changing our name and mission to solely focus on weddings, but one thing remains: our devotion to beautiful flowers on your special day.

Elaine

Elaine was born and raised in the Lowcountry, born in Hilton Head Island and relocating to Charleston for college and beyond. Her entire life she’s been artistically inclined and found the art of floral design to be the perfect merger of her degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and her interest in the visual arts. In 2013, at the age of 23 she purchased Frampton’s Flowers and made it her own officially changing the name to Fresh Weddings and Events in 2019. While producing hundreds of weddings a year, she stays current on new trends and technique by attending yearly workshops and seminars across the country as well as internationally. She’s proud to say she’s studied in Richmond, Miami, Charlotte, and Ecuador under leaders in the industry. Her biggest source of inspiration tends to be the clients themselves. She loves personally connecting with each of her brides and finding ways to translate their personality and interests into their wedding design. A self professed “flower nerd” always excited by a new discovery from the flower library or up and coming design trend she wakes up just as excited as the bride on wedding days! Her excitement propels her forward in her career, making each weekend better than the last.

“The rush and adrenaline each weekend never gets old! I get giddy excited each weekend when I’m driving up to the venue. The best compliment I ever received from a bride was when she came down from the bridal suite with her hair in rollers to give me a hug and tell me her flowers were just like the photos she sent me… but better. ”
